Record Turnover Growth For Rebecchi Architectural As Practice Invests In VR and 3D Printing
A record year of enquiries and appointments is driving the continued growth of a Gourock-based Architectural Services firm.
Rebecchi Architectural, which is based on Kempock Street, has reported a 60 per cent growth in turnover for 2020-21.
The firm also received its highest ever level of enquiries in its nearly 10-year history, closely followed by a record number of appointments to projects. This followed a 20 per cent growth in turnover from 2019 to 2020.
Driven by the increasing demand for its architectural services, Rebecchi Architectural has also expanded its team to be able to cope with the incoming demand, adding four new employees over the past 9 months.
The practice now employs eight Inverclyde-based staff, making it one of the fastest-growing in Scotland, which was supported by the expansion into smart new offices in April 2021.
Director Marco Rebecchi said: "We have invested and expanded the team over the past year, strengthening our planning and design expertise, and these appointments are another positive move as we enjoy unprecedented growth.
Known for its contemporary designs, flexibility, and strong customer focus, the business has enjoyed successive years of growth, with commissions from across Scotland, including Inverness, Stirling, Ayrshire & Dumfries.
New areas of recent investment include integrating Virtual Reality and interactive design work into its offering, in-line with client demands, and investment into design videos.
The latest investment has been in 3D printing, enabling Rebecchi Architectural to build concept models and structures, leading to time and cost benefits for the design team.
It has been hailed a success by clients, letting them adapt the concept model quickly and relatively inexpensively at the early stage of the project.
Marco continued: "Despite our successful year, we continue to look at ways in which we can develop, improve and enhance our services.
“The investment into VR and 3D printing bring a new dynamic to our overall services and the initial feedback has been hugely encouraging.
“We have managed to build a fantastic client base, securing planning, and delivering for over 850 home improvements, nearly 200 commercial developments, and more recently entering the residential development market.
"The vast majority of our work comes from referrals and repeat business and we're lucky to work with a wide range of clients, including commercial and residential developers, investors, and private individuals looking to create their dream homes."
In the past year, Rebecchi Architectural has been appointed on several projects, including the £12m Ardgowan Distillery project in Inverkip, and the McPherson Drive residential development in Gourock, alongside several other new-build housing developments.
"Our clients trust us to interpret their brief and deliver beautifully designed creative and deliverable projects, and thanks to our investment, we can continue to look forward to a bright future for the business“ Marco concluded.
