Plans Unveiled for The Construction Of A New Four-Bedroom House In Inverkip
A proposal, assisted by Rebecchi Architectural, has been submitted to Inverclyde Council for the gap site within the grounds of the Bell House, on the village's Langhouse Road.
Foundations of a former agricultural building remain on the site and the Bell House was designed, built and occupied by industrialist Sir Robert McAlpine, whose company constructed the nearby now-demolished Inverkip Power Station.
According to a design statement lodged with the application, the proposed new home is set to include an air-source heat pump and a rainwater recycling system.
Planning permission in principle was granted for the site last year.
