Ardgowan Hospice Announces Headline Supporters Of Its 2023 Annual Ball
Ardgowan Hospice has announced Ardgowan Distillery and Arnold Clark as its headline supporters of its 2023 Annual Ball.
The Annual Ball is Ardgowan Hospice’s key fundraising event of the year, with the 2022 Ruby Ball generating £40,000 towards vital and compassionate patient care in Inverclyde.
“The generous support from both Ardgowan Distillery and Arnold Clark will help cover many of the costs that go into making the Ball a memorable and spectacular night for our guests,” said Joanna Hunter, Fundraising Manager at Ardgowan Hospice.
“This ensures that even more of the funds raised on the night can go directly to continuing and developing new patient services in our local community.”
Arnold Clark is a returning supporter of Ardgowan Hospice and has extended its support for this year's event.
Russell Borrie, Arnold Clark's Chief Operating Officer said: “Arnold Clark is delighted to continue to support Ardgowan Hospice and the tremendous work they do.
“We’re proud to partner with Ardgowan Hospice as they continue to provide care for patients and their families in the local community.
“We’re looking forward to another great night and raising vital funds!”
Ardgowan Distillery is being welcomed for the first time as an event supporter and the Hospice is looking forward to working with this exciting up-and-coming company.
Martin McAdam, CEO of Ardgowan Distillery said: “Ardgowan Hospice is very personal to me after my wife died at 46 after a long battle with cancer.
"Supporting people when their loved ones are dying is essential and we’re so pleased to be contributing to such an important community resource.”
The sold-out event takes place on 4th March 2023 in the Greenock Town Hall with star host, Des Clarke returning by popular demand with Bowman Rebecchi also hosting a table at the annual fundraiser.
Marco Rebecchi, Director at Rebecchi Architectural and a Trustee of Ardgowan Hospice said:
"It is wonderful to be able to support another superb event for the Hospice, which promises to be another important fundraiser for a cause so important to the local community."
