Rebecchi Architectural Celebrates Expansion With New Staff and Office
A Gourock-based Architectural Services firm is celebrating after expanding its practice with a 40 per cent increase in staff and a move to larger offices in the town.
Driven by increasing demand for its architectural services, Rebecchi Architectural has recently appointed three new members to its team.
The business, which launched in 2013, has grown to become one of the leading practices in Inverclyde. Its continued growth meant it had outgrown its previous Kempock Street office and has now moved into smart new offices on the same street.
Known for its contemporary designs, flexibility and strong customer focus, the business has enjoyed successive years of growth with commissions from across Scotland, including Inverness, Stirling, Ayrshire & Dumfries.
The practice now employs seven Inverclyde-based staff, making it one of the fastest growing in the region with a focus on developing its three-dimensional design work in line with client demands and investment into design videos.
The company's newest recruits include Ronan Sharp, 25 from Greenock who graduated in 2021 from the University of the West of Scotland in Computer Aided Design and 20-year-old Architectural student, Ryan Kelly who is currently studying at Macintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow.
Tom Semple, 22 from Gourock is the latest recruit having recently qualified from West College Scotland in interior architecture and joining the team as part of the UK Government’s Kickstart Scheme.
Reflecting on the new employees, owner Marco Rebecchi said: "The new appointments and office move are the natural next step to support the growth of the practice, as well as creating new job opportunities in Inverclyde, proving you can work locally within this sector.
“Creating job opportunities for local talent is something I am very passionate about, and I’m delighted to welcome the new members of the team to the business.
“All of the team will play an important part in ensuring that we have the capacity to continue to deliver the very best in design work for our current and future clients."
In the past year, Rebecchi Architectural has supported multiple Inverclyde projects, including the Mansion House development at Ardgowan Square in Greenock, the McPherson Drive residential development in Gourock as well as supporting Greenock Morton FC with its ongoing stadium improvements.
Marco continued: “Since setting up in 2013, we've built a fantastic client base, securing planning, and delivering over 800 home improvements, 180 commercial developments and more recently entering the residential development market.
"The vast majority of our work comes from referrals and repeat business and we're lucky to work with a wide range of clients, including commercial and residential developers, investors and private individuals looking to create their dream homes.
"Our clients trust us to interpret their brief and deliver beautifully designed, creative and deliverable projects and we can now look forward to the future with the expansion.”
Speaking of his new role, Ryan Kelly from Wemyss Bay said: “The opportunity to work as part of the team at Rebecchi Architectural combined with my studies has been fantastic and enabled me to broaden my current skillset and knowledge within the field.
“I’m enjoying providing my own personal approach to creative architectural design with the support of the wider team and it’s great to be able to do this locally.”
