NEW ROOF AND UPGRADING WORKS

The client was having issues with water ingress through the existing shallow pitch roof. Initially the brief was simply to install a new steeper pitched roof. Upon preparing detailed drawings the client intimated that he didn’t want any disruption to the existing house. The only way this was possible was to build a new timber kit around the house to support the new roof, effectively wrapping the existing house inside the new construction. This would also allow us to insulate the building. We were then asked to explore the possibility of using the roof void for rooms. Definitely a challenging project.
